Mr. Boadu disclosed that "it is not for nothing that the NPP administration implored the electorates to vote them to power but for their welfare and economic sustainability as has been manifested in his municipality.

The MCE who believes residents of his municipality has benefited immensely not only from physically infrastructural but other social interventions was addressing the media during his encounter with the media at the ‘Meet the Press’ series in Asamankese.

The MCE noted that the nightmare of residents, commuters and drivers particularly in Asamankese and other parts of the municipality has been reduced following the efforts to salvage the terrible road networks in the central business town and other parts. Contractors, he noted have started re-constructional works on a number of stretches and such projects will be completed in no time.

On one million dollars per constituency, the MCE said the constituency has fully benefited from the policy as its share has been injected into a number of projects across the constituency such as public toilet facilities, drilling of boreholes among others.

He reiterated his relentless commitment to see the fulfillment of the elections of the MMDCEs which is being championed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to pave way for the Ghanaian people to decide on who head the various MMDA's in the coming years.

"As part of my efforts to fulfill my promise and support to the elections of the MMDCEs policy, I have instituted a five-member committee comprising the NPP, NDC and other stakeholders to propagate the message for the upcoming referendum in this municipality".

He seized the opportunity to urge all Ghanaians to support and vote yes to give a green light for the Ghanaian people to vote on who becomes our MMDCE in the days ahead stressing that the policy will deepen the democracy we are enjoying today.
