Jaman South MP pledges support for education on vaccine
Member of Parliament for Jaman South in Bono region, William Okofo Darteh, has pledged to support sensitization programs on the COVID-19 vaccines to ensure his constituents have fair idea about the vaccine before taking it.

He was speaking to Kwabena Obeng Akrofi today on Ark in the Morning on the arrival of the first consignment of the covid-19 vaccine in the county.
Meanwhile the government says the first segment of the populace to receive the arrived 600,000 doses of the vaccine will be health workers, adults of 60 years and above, people with underlying health conditions, frontline executives, legislature, judiciary and related staff, frontline security personnel, some religious leaders, essential workers and teachers.
Mr Okofo stated that he could not personally educate his constituents about the vaccine as he has no formal knowledge and would supporting the health workers in educating the residents to understand and accept the vaccine.
He noted that only the health professionals would be able to clear any perception in the minds of Ghanaians on the vaccine, as some are scared that it might have a negative impact on them.
He said he was ready to demonstrate and take the vaccine to attract his constituents to follow after the education.
