Ghana Card Registration Training Underway At Akumadan

Training is underway for 165 registration officers including data collectors at Akumadan in Offinso North ahead of the Ghana card registration in Ashanti region from Monday, December 11, 2019, till Wednesday, January 08, 2020.

The National Identification Authority (NIA) programme will cater for 30 registration centres in the district to take care of Ghanaians aged 15 years and above to register for their Ghana card for free with their genuine document.

Speaking to ISD / Ghanadistricts, the District Registration Officer Desmond Ansah called on everybody to be fully supportive and take part in the exercise saying by the end of the 3-day training, all the registration officers might have to be equipped to administer the exercise to the satisfaction of all.

District Information Officer (DIO), Emmanuel Buorokuu called for smooth cooperation between the organizers and the assembly to enhance effective public sensitization on the registration.
