NPP unveils youth wing and TESCON Patrons in Kintampo North Municipality
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kintampo North under the guidance of its constituency executives and Youth Organizer, Joseph Nanga have held a host of activities in Kintampo finally leading to inauguration of working committees for the youth wing and the unveiling of patrons for the Tertiary Education Confederacy (TESCON) of the college of Health and Well-being.

The event under the theme, “Mobilizing Tertiary Students for victory 2020 and beyond, the role of the youth wing”.
Began with a float through the principal streets of Kintampo on Thursday 4th April 2019. Amides brass band music, the party executives for Kintampo North, accompanied by their colleagues from Kintampo South. The women’s wing and party members dressed in party T-Shirts and paraphernalia marched through the streets to raise awareness for the programme.
Friday, 5th April saw members of the party engage in a seminar at the college of Health and well-being lecture hall. The gains of the Ne Patriotic Party (NPP) so far under the governance of H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo took center stage. Members were addressed by the constituency party secretary, sheick Dauda Mohammed, the Youth Organizer, Joseph Nanga and other party communicators.
To climax the activity, a grand durbar and party rally took place at the College of Health and Well-being School Park with some notable members of the party such as the constituency executives, party communicators, the constituency Nasara Co-coordinator, Alhaji Habieb Mohammed Mr. Municipal Chief executive for Kintampo North, Mr. Michael Sarkodie Baffoe, the District Chief Executive for Kintampo South, Mr. Alexsandra Gyan and other high ranked officials of the party in Kintampo North and South Constituencies present.
Addressing the gathering, both the Municipal Chief Executive for Kintampo North and District Chief Executive for Kintampo South besieged members of the working committees as well as the new patrons of TESCON – College of Health not to relax but make giant strides to work hard to ensure victory in the 2020 elections. They both admonished the students to study hard as the NPP government is resolved in providing them with gainful employment as they roll out of school.
They asked the party supporters who make up the grass roots to be resolute, steadfast and proud of the achievements of the government and work to ensure victory.
The Constituency Youth Organizer, Joseph Nanga and the TESCON president of the college of Health and Well-being also took turn to address the gathering stressing that, the NPP government was their surest bet and further illustrating that with the Nursing Training Allowances that were recently paid. Mr. Nanga then tasked the working committee to energize the youth in the constituency and work hard toward victory whiles emphasizing his support for TESCON.
Aspirants in the impending regional elections for the newly created Bono East Region used the opportunity to speak and sell out their ideologies for the party at the gathering. Members of other political parties, notably the National Democratic Congress (NDC) were also there to solarize with the NPP.
The event concluded in a charged atmosphere with jamboree aided by music and dance.
