Effutu Development Foundation re-launched

The Omanhen of Efutu Traditional Area, Neenyi Ghartey VII with the Board has re-launched the Effutu Development Foundation at the Saint John Divine Anglican Church in Winneba.

It was graced by the Municipal Chief Executive of the assembly Alhaji Zubairu Kassim and was chaired by Mrs. Mabel J. Micah, the Municipal Director of Education with the keynote address by Dr. Ben Ocra, a development consultant.

In an interview with ghanadistricts.com, the MCE said the purpose of the re-launching of the Efutu foundation is to provide the citizenry the opportunity to see development in Education, health and all aspect of the economy.

In his address to the board, the MCE raised concerns on the need to revamp all cultural artifacts and festivals that can put Effutu on the international map.

By this, he pledged his unflinching support for the fund and its growth. And further intimated that he will be an ambassador to ensure that philanthropists and donors he knows and have worked with will be brought on board in growing the foundation.
