NCCE engages Fire Service Personnel on district level elections

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Tano North Municipal office engaged Ghana National Fire Service officer at Duayaw Nkwanta to sensitize them on the upcoming district level elections.

The Municipal Director for the Commission, Mr. Joseph Oduro-Buabeng tasked the officers to take part during the elections and encourage their relatives to do same as civic education is a shared responsibility.

This education was carried out to help increase the voter turnout during the election because from records and data available there is always low turnout during district level elections.

Mr Francis Datsomor Mensah, the Programs officer at NCCE also took the officers through the processes to link their Ghana Card with SSNIT and NHIS as well as how to check the number of SIM cards registered on their Ghana Card by dialing*402*1# on their phones.
