Krachi East confirms DCE

Mr Patrick Charty Jelima, a two-time parliamentary aspirant has been confirmed the Krachi East District Chief Executive, with 28 votes out of 30, representing 93 per cent.

He expressed gratitude to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the honour and promised to give off his best to the District.

Mr Jelima said water was a major problem and he was thankful the Member of Parliament (MP) was also the Deputy Sanitation Minister who would help him address the issue.

He promised to liaise with relevant stakeholders to address the water challenges in the District.

Mr Maxwell Blagodji,Deputy Volta Regional Minister, said the District had demonstrated a commitment towards development and stated the readiness of the Regional Coordinating Council to support the agenda.

Mr Michael Dzato, the MP for the area called for teamwork for the accelerated development of the District.
