DCE commissions 3-unit classroom block

The District Chief Executive for Twifo Atti-Morkwa, Mr Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi on has commissioned a 3-unit classroom block for Nuamakrom D/A Basic School in Twifo Nuamakrom.

The day’s activity of the District Chief Executive started with a sod cutting ceremony at Asensuhu Agave for the construction of a six (6) unit classroom block. The district chief executive also cut sod for the construction of a Three (3) unit classroom block at Twifo Opokukrom.

He advised the community to help the contractor anyway possible to finish the work on scheduled and also advised the students to take their lessons serious but in all said, distribution of infrastructure to the over 200 communities in the district is not easy, so he urged the communities to exercise patience as he will do his best to get them the needed development.

The ceremony continued with the commissioning of the Three (3) unit classroom block. Mr Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi thanked the community for their commitment and help they gave to the contractor.

He then advised the students and teachers to utilize the building well. To the students, he advised them to learn hard as with the introduction of free senior high school education, all the students need to do is to learn hard.

In the company of the District Chief Executive was the District Director of Education, Mr. Anthony Takyi, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Ishmael Anaman and some departmental heads from the District Assembly.
