As part of the programme, the DCE of the area, Robert Agyeman awarded two students who had the best grade in the 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) namely Wilhemina Yeboah and Crackson Jojo Edwin who completed Precious Montessori School and Topp Basic School, respectively and are both now at Mfantsiman Girls SHS and the Presbyterian Boys school (Presec Legon), respectively.

They both received an undisclosed cash prize and a certificate for their hard work.

Mr. Agyeman congratulated the students for their excellent academic performance and encouraged them to remain loyal to their excellent academic performance and take the opportunity to advise the rest of the students to also emulate what the two students have done and learn hard.

He said one significant achievement is in the area of education, through which measures have been adopted by his leadership on one hand, and the cooperation of the teachers on the other, with which the district chalked great improvement in performance in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) last year.

He further said this current Nana Addo led administration is doing its best to do away with the previous chew and pour style of learning.

On free Senior High School policy, he admonished the teachers to bring their ideas on what can be done to sustain the programme and make it better. He was however quick to also appeal to the Ministry of Education and her departments to open their doors for stakeholder engagements.

He touched on a few development projects his leadership has executed and called on all and sundry to join hands for the president's vision to materialize.
