He advised the executives to prioritise the party’s collective interests over personal political ambitions as the NDC prepares for the 2028 general elections.

In an interview in Sunyani, Mr Antwi-Agyei said President John Dramani Mahama’s government was pursuing its reset agenda, with the aim of improving the living conditions of Ghanaians.

He stressed the need for the constituency executives to intensify public education on the government’s socio-economic interventions to ensure that citizens understood the objectives and benefits of its policies and programmes.

According to him, such engagements would enable the public to appreciate and support initiatives in education, healthcare, agriculture and agribusiness, particularly those aimed at creating jobs and reducing poverty.

Mr Antwi-Agyei also called on NDC members and supporters to remain united and support the activities and operations of the constituency executives.

He said unity, selflessness, hard work and determination were essential to strengthening the party’s grassroots structures and improving its prospects ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Meanwhile, about 3,000 delegates of the party have retained Mr Stephen Kwame Adu as Chairman of the Sunyani East Constituency in the NDC’s constituency elections held in Sunyani.

The delegates also elected Mr Yaya Borsu as Vice Chairman, Mr Francis Atta Kusi as Secretary and Mr Samuel Frimpong as Communications Officer.

Mrs Naomi Yeboah Amankwah was elected Women’s Organiser, while Mr Vincent Amponsah Gyamfi won the position of Youth Organiser.
