DCE cuts sod for construction of CHPS compound at Digma
The District Chief Executive for Central Gonja in the Northern Region, Mustapha Mahama has cut sod for the construction of a Community- based health and planning services (CHPS) centre for the people Digma.

The clinic which is expected to be completed in six (6) months will come with fully installed Solar system, mechanized borehole and rain harvesting facility will serve residents of the Digma Electoral Area comprising Digma, Nyantan, Dabopei, and Tinga Dabopei.
Cutting the sod for the commencement of the project, the Central Gonja DCE urged the contractor of the project Messrs Mamwin Company Limited to start work immediately to complete the project on scheduled for the benefit of the people.
Hon. Mustapha said the project is one of the projects earmarks this year by the assembly in collaboration with its partner, Systems for Health (USAID) to providing infrastructural development to enhance quality Healthcare delivery in the district, adding that, Health is one priorities of the assembly.
He hinted that, the Tulewe CHPS, Chama clinic, Boakye Pei CHPs, and Yala clinic will also undergo renovation with the construction of two additional CHPS at Kigbripei and Tidropei.
Hon. Mustapha, urged the people of the Digma Electoral area to also take the education of their children serious as to take advantage of Free SHS program being implemented by Government.
He opined that the National Insurance Authority had paid more than half the debt owned service providers and service providers are accepting the Health insurance cards. "I therefore entreat you to register and Renew your membership with Health to enable you benefit from the program now and also after the completion of the clinic.
The Managing Director of Mamwin Company Limited promised to complete the work within the stipulated six (6) calendar months. "I have already mobilize the resources needed for the commencement of the project and I promised to do a qualitative job".
