Mr. Dusey was accompanied by officers from the Planning, Works, Physical Planning, and Social Welfare Departments of the Ho West District Assembly, alongside representatives of First Sky Construction, the contractor executing the project.

The team visited households whose properties have been earmarked for demolition, using the engagement to interact directly with affected residents and address concerns regarding the upcoming exercise.

According to Mr Dusey, the field activity focused on gathering detailed data on the structures and their owners to support proper documentation and ensure transparency throughout the process.

He said the affected homeowners would soon meet an evaluation team from the Ministry of Roads and Highways to discuss assessments and determine “appropriate compensation packages for all deserving property owners.”

The DCE assured residents of the Assembly’s commitment to fair, open, and responsive engagement, stressing that the road project would significantly enhance mobility and boost economic activity across the district.
