The event will mark the commencement of several key educational facilities aimed at improving access and learning conditions in senior high, technical, and basic schools within the constituency.

The MP will be joined by James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, as well as district officials, traditional authorities, and representatives of beneficiary institutions.

The ceremonies will take place at Amedzofe College of Education and Awudome Senior High School (AWUSCO). Among the major projects to be launched are a two-storey dormitory block, a two-storey administration block, and a two-storey classroom block to expand infrastructure in selected senior high and technical schools.

At Tsito Senior High Technical School, Mr. Bedzrah will cut the sod for the construction of a new dining hall with a kitchen block. Similar dining facilities are earmarked for Awudome Senior High School, Avatime Senior High School, and Anfoeta Technical Institute.

Additional projects include a two-storey boys’ dormitory for Abutia Senior High School; 12-unit classroom blocks for Akome Senior High School, Amedzofe Technical Institute, Saviefe Technical School, and Avenui Technical Institute; as well as a six-unit teachers’ bungalow at Abutia Adegbleve DA Primary School.

In Dzolo, the MP will announce plans for a four-kilometre fence wall and a two-storey administration block for Dzolo Senior High School. Additional classroom blocks will also be constructed for Bame EP Basic School and Dzolokpuita Salvation Army Basic School.

Infrastructure support will further extend to basic schools, with sod to be cut for a new kindergarten block and ancillary facilities at Dzolokpuita, a six-unit classroom block for Tsito Methodist JHS, and a three-unit classroom block for Kpedze Islamic School.

Mr. Bedzrah said the initiative aligns with the development vision of John Dramani Mahama, emphasising that quality education infrastructure remains a priority under the Reset Government.

He noted that the projects are designed to transform the education landscape in Ho West, stressing that improved infrastructure will directly enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

The MP expressed appreciation to stakeholders, including the Ho West District Assembly led by Francis Dusey, for their collaboration in advancing infrastructure across all levels of education.

He also urged beneficiary communities to take ownership of the projects upon completion, highlighting the importance of proper maintenance and responsible use to sustain long-term development gains.
