Minister visits Builsa South district

The Minister of Environment, science, Technology and Innovation Hon. Professor Frimpong Boateng has toured some communities in the Builsa South district.

The Minister ceased the opportunity to visit some projects being implemented under the Sustainable Land and Water Management Project (SLWMP) at Gbedembisi and Kanjarga Kalaasa in the District.

The projects include Tree growing, River Bank protection, Soil erosion control, Soil enrichment planting, Bamboo cultivation, Rangeland Development and Livelihood support for women.



Women in Gbedemblisi were so excited because the project supported them with a Shea butter processing plant.


The DCE said, this flagship project is the 75 acres rangeland fenced with Wire mesh for animals rearing in Kanjarga under a community called Kalaasa.


He further said project could not have come at a better time than
