The new block which is meant to help decongest existing classroom blocks has stalled for sometime as a result of lack of funds as requested by the contractor.
According to the MCE the contractor promised to return to the project as soon as some funds are made available which they (Assembly) are is working on assiduously to have the structure completed.
He said he was not happy about the current situation at the school with population of about 50 plus students in a class and he is determined to change that to ensure effective teaching and learning.
We are at lintel level, and as I said earlier the only challenge has to do with funds so we are trying everything possible to make sure we complete it.
The MCE said as a matter of principle, in the Assembly’s 2023 budget, provisions have been made for furniture and all new buildings would be seriously considered first since it would be out of place to have the structures without furniture for the students to use.
