About two people including a nurse are confirmed to have lost their lives when a three storey-building situated at Krofrom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region collapsed on Monday evening due to a heavy downpour of rain.

Other information gathered by Ghanadistricts.com however indicates that about 7 others have also been rescued with 5 sustaining various forms of injuries.

Meanwhile, rescue efforts are still ongoing in search of one Anita, who was still trapped under the rubble as at 6:00 GMT.
