Government has attended to the concerns of residents of the Kumbungu district in the Northern region to reconstruct several of the roads which needed to be reshaped to boost transportation for motorists.

In this light, the 10km Tamale-Kumbungu-Sakuba highway has been considered to be constructed to improve the road network in the entire district.

Mr Iddi Manzah Mahama,DCE for the area who spoke to Ghanadistricts.com concerning the project disclosed that the contractors assigned to work on that stretch are currently busy on site discharging works.

He was optimistic that the project would finish off by the end of the year to offer motorists the comfort in travelling on the road.
