As part of measures to enhance justice delivery in the Pru District of the Brong Ahafo Region, the district assembly has constructed a new state of the art magistrate court complex to replace the old one.

The move is expected to ease the stress on the judicial service in the area who sometimes have to postpone sitting due to bad weather.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com the Chief Executive of the district Nasawud Mohamed said the existing judicial structure is dilapidated prompting the zeal for the new edifice.

Again on infrastructural development the assembly in its quest to promote the study of ICT in the district has constructed a new ICT center and a public library for students and residents of the area. The Chief Executive noted that though the facility is yet to be completed it has been opened for public use.

Mr. Mohamed also noted that a new abattoir has been constructed for the meat dealers in the area who constitute a majority of the self employed youth in the district.
