Education Minister commissions 3-storey block for Saint Monica SHS
The Education Minister, Mr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has commissioned a three -storey classroom block and 400 bed capacity student’s hall for Saint Monica’s Senoir High School at Asante Mampong to ease congestion.

According to the Minister, the building which was financed by the central government is to ease congestion in the school to enable the pupils have a very conducive environment for learning and commended the contractor for the excellent job by completing on schedule to ease the pressure the student was putting on the existing but limited facilities.
He added that, once the government has made it a policy for all Ghanaians to at least have a minimum education qualification at the senior high school level, providing quality infrastructure in the country’s educational sector is very important and a priority to the government.
The Municipal Chief Executive of the area, Appiah Kubi said, the government is committed to his educational policy and will continue to invest in infrastructure and human resource to ensure that that vision is achieved.
He then pleaded with the Head Teacher and staff of the school to take maintenance seriously to ensure the longevity of the classroom block.
