Mr. Emmanuel Nikoi Dsane, Presiding Member for the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly, has appealed to the public to consider the municipality as a place of opportunities and desist from always associating it with negative things.

He was worried that, in spite of all the good things about the municipality, the public chose to always attach importance to the negative ones leaving the good ones.

“Ashaiman like any other cosmopolitan society is not without bad nuts; so much as we criticize the wrongs, we must also response quickly to giving credit when it is due”, he said.

“Just recently, we had a student from the municipality winning the nation quiz competition, while the second edition of the MTN sponsored Metro Sport Reality show was also worn by another citizen from Ashaiman and many more which indicates how hard working the citizens can be” he added .

On youth development, the PM said plans are advanced to support brilliant but needy children in 2nd cycle institutions through the collaborative effort of the Member of Parliament (MP) and the district assembly.
