President John Atta Mills has nominated Ms. Ophelia Koomson as the Municipal Chief Executive of the Birim Central Municipal Assembly.

President John Atta Mills has nominated Ms. Ophelia Koomson as the Municipal Chief Executive of the Birim Central Municipal Assembly.
A statement to the Ghana News Agency and signed by Mr Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development said the nomination was in accordance with section 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution as well as section 20(1) of the Local Government Act, 1993, Act 462.
