GUSHIEGU: Interior minister renews curfew
On the advice of the Upper East and Northern Regional Security Councils and by Executive Instrument , the curfew imposed on the Gushiegu township has been renewed.

On the advice of the Upper East and Northern Regional Security Councils and by Executive Instrument , the curfew imposed on the Gushiegu township has been renewed.
In a statement , the Interior minister, Mr. Cletus Avoka said the curfew which takes immediate effect will be between the hours of 12 midnight and 4am.
He said the government is appealing to all stakeholders including chiefs, elders and opinion leaders to continue to impress on the people to ensure that law and order is maintained in the communities at all times.
