(ABETIFI) KWAHU EAST: Nominee secures assembly’s blessing
The Kwahu East District Assembly has finally approved the nomination of Mr Samuel Asamoah for the post of District Chief Executive.

The Kwahu East District Assembly has finally approved the nomination of Mr Samuel Asamoah for the post of District Chief Executive.
He polled 20 out of the 25 votes cast to get the blessing of the assembly at an emergency meeting at Abetifi.
Mr Samuel Asamoah, was rejected by the assembly in an earlier election when he polled 14 out of the 26 total votes cast, less than the required two-third majority.
In his acceptance speech, Mr Asamoah, a 44-year-old Science Tutor
at the Abetifi Presbyterian Senior High school, thanked the assembly
members and the President for the confidence reposed in him and called for cooperation and support from all stakeholders in the district.
