EJURA: MCE urges staff to remain committed to dev’t of the municipality

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly, Alhaji Bawah Braimah has reminded staff of the assembly of their relevance to the attainment of socio-economic development of the municipality.

This, he stated requires that staff of the assembly should be well informed about all emerging issues in the quest for total decentralization in order to enhance performance.

The MCE who was addressing heads of departments and core management staff of the assembly at a meeting held at the assembly hall said working for a common goal requires that they meet from time to time to adopt common approaches towards ensuring quality delivery.

"You will agree with me that the effectiveness of the Assembly to a very large extent depends on you as professionals and technocrats. This means that you occupy very sensitive positions in the Assembly and therefore your conduct certainly has a reflection on the image of our Assembly and for that matter the government".

He thus appealed to them to be on top of the system to enable them conduct the affairs of the Assembly in a manner that will engender cooperation and goodwill among the people at the grass root.

The MCE also reminded the staff to conduct themselves well in other not to compromise their positions as neutral players in public service delivery. He also laid emphasis on punctuality to improve productivity.

He was grateful for how far they have contributed in moving the municipality to achieve its objectives and urged them to do more.
