NJSMA inaugurates new uniforms for city guards

The New Juaben South Municipal Assembly has procured a new set of thirty (30) uniforms for the Municipal City Guards. The uniforms also come with boots, caps and belts were aimed at enhancing the operations of the city guard.

Speaking at a short parade, the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Isaac Appaw-Gyasi, thanked the guards for their hard work been exhibited throughout the years of working for the assembly, and ask them to continue to move the assembly forward for other municipalities to learn from.

He cautioned the City Guards to desist from collecting bribes from the public but rather insist on what is right for the betterment of the municipality.

The parade consisted of fifteen (15) officers including the Chief Guard, seven (7) women and eight (8) men. The parade was commanded by Staff Sergeant Charles Bentle.

The Municipal Chief Guard, Baba Mumuni in his acceptance speech, thanked the Municipal Chief Executive and the Municipal Coordinating Director for their immersed support and recognition of their work in the municipality.

He vowed to work diligently to reciprocate the support by the Assembly.

He also seized the opportunity to plead with authorities to provide them a vehicle to help ease their work.

The occasion was graced by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Yahaya Froko, Mr. YiadomSarpong, Assistant Director and the Municipal Information Officer, Mr. Collins Aikins Akuffo.
