BOSOME F: Keep hope alive, vote for John Mahama - Veep

Vice President Kwesi Amissah- Arthur has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for President John Mahama comes December 7, 2016.

Vice President Amissah- Arthur said this when he commissioned ultra-modern administration block for the Bosome Freho District Assembly and a modern education block for the district at Asiwa, the district capital. “You should all come in your numbers to vote for the NDC come December 7, just as you come here today, so that we can be confident that we are  actually winning” Veep urged the teeming crowd speaking in fanti.    

He said President Mahama led has provided a lot infrastructural development for the area in terms of health facilities, roads, sanitation and education. Vice president Amissah-Arthur stated that should President Mahama be given another four-year mandate by the people he would continue to do more.

He called on the electorate to vote for Hon. Kwame Adarkwah to become the Member of Parliament for the Bosome Freho to complement the effort of President Mahama in parliament to bring development to the area.

Vice president Amissah-Arthur introduced the NDC’s Parliamentary candidate Hon. Kwame Adarkwah to the crowd.

Hon. Kwame Adarkwah, the District Chief Executive for the area who is also the parliamentary candidate for the NDC in his welcome address, highlighted some of the developmental projects in the district since 2009 when he took office as DCE and promised to do more when voted to represent them in parliament.

He used the occasion to appeal to government to upgrade the Asiwa health Centre into the status of a district hospital. The DCE also appealed to the IGP and the government to consider as a matter of urgency posting more security personnel to the area to beef up security in the area as well as providing a means of transport to help them give up their best.

Nana Barima offe Akwasi okogyesuo II, the Paramount chief of the kokofu traditional area commended the government and the Bosome Freho district assembly for the many developmental projects in the area saying that “Hon. Kwame Adarkwah and his team since 2009 have done a lot to bring this district to this far”.

He said one of the major challengers of the area is the road network and appealed to government to consider tarring the roads from Bekwai to Asiwa and the one linking the New Eddibiase and Asiwa to make more motorable. 

Nana Akwasi Okogyesuo II therefore, urged the people to conduct themselves in an atmosphere of peace during, before and after the elections.
