BOSOME F: Community Police Assistants receive bicycles

Seventeen Community Police Assistants of the National Youth Employment Agency (YPA) in the Bosome Freho District have been handed a bicycle each to enhance their work at a ceremony held at the premises of the District Assembly at Asiwa.

In his presentation speech, Mr. Kwame Adarkwah, the District Chief Executive for the area said government is putting measures in place to making the Agency better and stated that the released of the bicycles to them was an indication that the government is committed to modernize the Agency.

He said the bicycles were released to enable them to work efficiently and to make them also to be able to reach the communities within their catchment areas without any hindrance.

Hon. Adarkwah urged the recipients to work hard to support the effort been made by the District Police Command to maintain peace and order in the District at all time.

He also told them to do their work and not to lord themselves over the people they have come to serve as their work is to compliment the efforts of the police.

The DCE on behalf of the government handed over the bicycles to DSP Albert Ode Quansah of the District Police Command, who intern handed them over to the beneficiaries.

The District commander of Police, DSP Albert Ode Quansah thanked Government for the gesture and pledged to make sure the items are put into good use to enhance community policing in the district.

He however, appealed to Government to ensure that their allowances are paid promptly to enable them give out their best.
