NDC PC vows to recapture Bibiani seat from NPP
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliament Candidate for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Mr. Stephen Donkor, on Wednesday, 7, October 2020 submitted his nomination forms and other relevant documents to the Municipal Electoral Commission Office at Bibiani to officially join the upcoming December 7 Parliamentary Race.

Addressing the media after he had successfully filed his nomination forms and other requirements, Mr. Donkor stated, the good people of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai deserves better, ‘’I am the best candidate for the constituency to turn around the fortunes of the area.
He indicated that regardless of the seat belongs to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) he thinks it time for the NDC to win back this time round going for the December polls and called on the people particularly the youth to make the right choice which is Mr. Stephen Donkor and John Dramani Mahama and not otherwise.
According to him, the seat was for the National Democratic Congress Party until the 2004 elections when the New Patriotic Party took over from them and that the time had come for the NDC to take back the seat.
Mr. Donkor commanded the NDC general secretary Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia for his guidelines towards the submission of the forms and also thanked the Electoral Commission for the smooth exercise done since they have no cause to complain about their activities so far and tasked the other Electoral Commission officials across the country to emulate the good steps of the commission’s officials in Bibiani to ensure peace and total unity.
Mr. Donkor appealed to party supporters to devoid of politics of insults and personal attacks as they approached the December elections and rather focused on the good policies in the NDC people’s manifesto to canvass for more votes so to win the seat.
He called on the opposition parties for total peace and unity among themselves before, during, and after the elections since politics is not about insults and attacks.
The documents were received by Mr. A.k. Achar the EC municipal returning officer after endorsements of the forms by the EC signifying a successful presentation.
Mr. Achar stated that Mr. Stephen Donkor was the first Candidate to submit his nomination forms and pledged for free and fair elections come December 7.
He was accompanied by some Constituency Executives and other party supporters in the Constituency.
