The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Mampong Municipal Assembly, Thomas Appiah Kubi indicated that the community has been lacking health facility for all these years bringing untold hardship to them.

According to him, it was therefore a wise and positive decision that the assembly under the leadership of his predecessor started the construction of a CHPS centre for the community but was abandoned. However, his resolve to provide the people with quality health at their doorstep motivated him to ensure work resumes on the project. And the good news is that the project has progressed and is now at the roofing level, and hopefully to be complete by the end of the year.

When the CHPS compound is completed and in operation, it will save the community a lot of stress, since residents of Bunosu community will no longer have to endure the usual 4 miles walk to other community in search of health delivery.

The DCE assured the budget allocation through District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) had already been made to help ensure completion of the project.
