The Eminent Sagnarigu Chief warns the NPP’s Kandahar boys to stay away from disturbing the peace in the Sagnarigu district, adding that, causing chaos in the area by any individuals or group will not be countenance.

According to him, the peace of the area is very paramount and therefore will not allow hoodlums within and outside the district to create problems for the people of the area.

The Kandahar boys on Wednesday besieged the premises of the Sagnarigu District Assembly and vandalized the DCE’s office.

Savanna24news have gathered that, the Kandahar boys went to the assembly in search of the DCE, Hon Iddrisu Mariam but met her absence. They got the DCE on phone and demanded to see her immediately but when the DCE told them she was on an assignment with the Northern Regional Minister, Hon Salifu Saeed on the occasion of my first day in school. The Kandahar boys became exasperated and verbally assault her (DCE) on the phone and started vandalizing her office.

A secretary to the District Chief Executive was wounded in the process.

The NPP Kandahar boys went to the assembly alongside one Hajia Mama whom they wanted to secured a school feeding coordinator’s job for in the district.
Our sources at the Sagnarigu palace disclosed that, the Chief of Sagnarigu was very disturbed and unhappy when reports of the assembly’s attack reach him at his palace.

The source said, His Royal Highness, the Sagnarigu Chief describes the actions of the Kandahar boys as disrespectful for traditional leadership and disregard for the rule of law.

The Sagnarigu Chief condemns the actions of the NPP youth and demands an outright apology from the NPP’s vigilante group for the people of Sagnarigu.

Ambassador Naa Abdulai Yakubu reiterated that, the people of Sagnarigu will not sit aloof and allow political hoodlums to destroy the peace of the district.
Our investigations have also revealed that, the Sagnarigu Chief will today summon officials of the Sagnarigu District assembly and the NPP leadership at his palace.
