The chiefs described the youth's action as unjustified and disgraceful.
Nana Agyemang Duah Achampong, Chief of Kunsu, spokesperson of the chiefs, said the people were satisfied with the performance of the DCE.
He said Mr Kwakwa's contribution the development of education, health and agriculture in the district had been commendable.
Nana Achampong pledged that the chiefs would continue to cooperate with the DCE to bring progress to the area and advised the NDC youth to desist from acts of lawlessness.
It may be recalled that some youth of the NDC last Friday took to the streets of Mankranso to demand that the President sacked the DCE, accusing him of neglect of the party.
They locked the office of Mr Kwakwa who was then in Accra for meeting.
