Last Thursday, the District Chief Executive of Asante Akyem North, Mr. Francis Oti Boateng set up early in the morning to Aberewapon New Site with the Police commander, Mr. Azugu, the Presiding Member, Agyemang Prempeh and the police patrol team in the District, following a report by a farmer that the cattle are constantly destroying their farms in the area.

On their way, the DCE had a flat tyre but that couldn't prevent him from going so they replaced it with the spare by the help of the police patrol team.

On entering the scene where these cattle are destroying farms, they met two Fulani herdsmen on a Motor Bike but they escaped arrest by entering the forest but left their motor bikes behind.

On reaching the new site they again saw another two Fulani herdsmen on a motor bike but this time the police were able to arrest one of them with the motor. The culprit is now at Police custody and yet to face the law.

The team stopped at Aberewapon to interact with the chiefs and people of Aberewapon and formed a watch dog committee to assist the police to arrest these violent and illegal herdsmen, whose activities continue to draw back efforts act improving agriculture production through constant destruction of farms and farm produce.
