But it's quite unfortunate that this element is no more in existence in the mindset of many Ghanaians that is why the nation is crawling in development.
Despite the aforementioned problem, others still have the notion that it's still not too late since it could be rekindled in divers ways.
Nana Afia Aberese Agyemang II, the Queen Mother of Kona Traditional Council has begun a crusade which would forever remain as indelible legacy in her community and the mindset of her people.
In her quest to improve upon the educational standards in the Sekyere South District, she has put up a modern kitchen edifice for the school feeding program at Kona.
The project which was solely financed by her would help ease off any climatic challenge that cookers go through during their activities. Since the food will be prepared under hygienic condition food contamination would also be reduced.
She finally appealed to the school feeding authority to involve the school in their Zongo community to exhibit equity in their activities.
Hon Catherine Wreckine, the District Chief Executive of the area also expressed her sincere and profound gratitude to the Queen Mother for demonstrating a spirit of patriotism towards the development of education in the district.
She indicated that the efforts of the queen mother has indeed minimized the educational hurdles in the district, adding, though the government is doing its part, individuals must throw their weight behind development of education in the area.
