Oscar Liwaal confirmed as DCE

Mr Oscar Liwaal has been confirmed as the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Bunkpurugu Yunyoo in the northern region by assembly members, today.

He pulled 37 out of 48 valid votes cast to secure the mandatory two-thirds majority needed  to confirm his position.

 

the deputy Northern Regional Minister, Mr Solomon Boar, who sworn the new DCE into office further advised members to live in peace and work collectively to help foster growth in the district.
 
The DCE, on his part, thanked all for their support and promised to work with all persons to help alleviate poverty and improve livelihoods.
