Accra Mayor takes second jab of Covid-19 vaccine
The Accra Metropolitan Chief Executive, Mr Mohammed Adjei Sowah has received the second dose of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine, as part of an effort to reassure the general public of the safety of the vaccines.

The AMA boss who received his jab at Mamprobi Hospital in Accra expressed confidence in the effectiveness and efficiency of the vaccines and encouraged residents of Accra to go for their jabs.
Mr Adjei Sowah received the first dose of the vaccine last month at the same health facility.
It will be recalled that, Ghana received additional 350,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine through the COVAX facility and is expected to be administered in the 43 districts that received their first jabs from March 1 to March 9.
The vaccines require two doses to ensure maximum protection.
