About 513 out of the total 699 delegates made up of Electoral Area Coordinators and Polling Station Executives of the Asuogyaman NPP, marched to the Constituency office in the NPP colours chanting "Paul Ansah is our savior".

According to the spokesman of the group, Marvin Akonnor speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com stated that, they decided to buy the nomination forms for Paul Asare Ansah because of the good work he has done in the constituency that makes him the obvious choice to lead them.

He stated that everywhere they went in Asuogyaman there was only one message they heard from the masses who elected them. That is, "if you don't bring Paul Ansah we will not vote for NPP".

"Out of the total 699 Executives and Coordinators, 506 contributed various sums of money ranging between One Ghana Cedi and Two Hundred Ghana Cedis for that purpose. A total of GHC13,712.00 was collected for the forms and the filling of nomination" he revealed.

Mr. Marvin Akonnor stressed that "While we express our admiration and appreciation for the hard work of Hon Paul Ansah, we want to assure him that come 28th September, the work he has done will secure for him an emphatic victory in the primaries. We will further join him to work harder to take the Asuogyaman seat for the NPP in the 2020 elections".

Receiving the forms in his residence at Aboasa in the Asuogyaman District, Paul Ansah thanked the delegates for their extraordinary show of love and support and renewed his pledge to take the seat for the NPP come 2020.
