DCE commissions boreholes in eight communities
The District Chief Executive of Builsa South District, Daniel Kwame Gariba, has commissioned eight (8) boreholes for eight communities in the Builsa South District.

The project was completed with funding through the Assembly’s share of the District Assemblies Common fund (DACF) and with support from ‘Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and Water Access Now (WAN).
Beneficiary communities include: Kanjak Logvogsa, Gbedema Dabomsa, Naadema Luisa, Butresa, Fumbisi Chiok, Kanjak Luisa, Uwasi.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Mr Gariba emphasized the government’s commitment to deliver on its promises by ensuring access to good and potable drinking water to all the communities across the district.
He hopeful that project will also eliminate the situation whereby residents of the beneficiary communities walk long distance in their quest for safe water for both drinking and other household chores.
He expressed appreciation to the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and Water Access Now (WAN) for their support and ceased the opportunity to call for more partnership other corporate and religious bodies.
Meanwhile, Mr Gariba has also hinted that ten more communities in the district have been earmarked by the assembly to benefit from the project.
