Residents discovered the bodies at the Berekum main lorry station, and Jamdede and Abansere communities in the early hours of Monday.
A reliable police source who confirmed the story, said that the bodies had since been deposited at a mortuary for preservation.
“We came to work this morning and noticed that residents were standing around a lifeless body at the station with an ice kenkey drink behind it,” Mr. Joseph Asogy, the Chief Security Officer at the Berekum lorry station said.
At Jamdede the residents said they also discovered the lifeless body of a young man believed to be in his 20s with several bruises, suspecting that the deceased was murdered.
During a visit to the Abansere community, the residents identified the deceased as a 60-year-old hunter, popularly known as ‘Adaague’ in a bush.
In an interview, the residents, mostly traders and commercial drivers, said they were shocked and saddened about the incidents, and called for thorough police investigations.
