A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a specialized intensive care unit that provides close monitoring and care to newborn babies who are critically ill or premature in need of close monitoring.
The goal of a NICU is to provide a safe and supportive environment for these fragile infants to grow, develop, and recover from their medical conditions.
