The 2025, unlike previous years, is expected to commence on a Wednesday, June 11, 2025, a shift from the usual Monday start.

Mrs Bernice Ofori, the Tema Metro Education Director, told the media that all preparations had been put in place to ensure a successful, incident-free BECE.

Mrs Ofori noted that the 3,820 registered candidates comprised 2,345 public school candidates and 1,475 are from private basic schools within the metropolis.

A total of 1,974 girls and 1,846 boys will sit for the exams at 14 designated centres.

She wished?all the candidates success?in the upcoming BECE, praying their efforts would?be crowned with passes for them to look back with pride and satisfaction.

“As they write their BECE exams, they should remember that they have worked hard and are well prepared. I urge all candidates to take their time, read the questions carefully, and answer them to the best of their ability,” she added.

She stressed that it was important for the candidates to keep calm, stay focused, and believe in themselves, adding that “success comes from hard work and dedication. Trust in your abilities, and you’ll sail through.”
