Ntrobuman SHS in distress: Authorities appeal for completion of abandoned projects

The school’s authorities and students have made a passionate appeal to the government and stakeholders to prioritise the completion of these projects, emphasising their critical importance for the wellbeing and success of the students.

Mr. Michael Kwame Mottey, the Assistant Headmaster in-charge of Academics, said the absence of a proper dining hall had forced students to eat their meals in makeshift arrangements under trees.

He said this had created an unconducive learning environment, hindering the students’ ability to focus and learn effectively.

Mr. Mottey said the stalled construction of boys dormitories, a project abandoned for years, had added to the frustration, adding that the uncompleted facility which was meant to serve as a multi-purpose space, it currently stood as a stark reminder of the government's unfulfilled promises to the school community.

Mr. Mottey stressed that Ntrobuman SHS strives for excellence in education, but the lack of basic amenities undermines its efforts.

He urged the government and stakeholders to take immediate action to address these pressing needs.

The school's plight has raised concerns among parents, alumni, and the broader community who are calling for urgent intervention to ensure students’ welfare and educational success.
