This was to support the Yadzo D/A Junior High School (JHS), Kordibenu E. P Primary, and Kpalime Kofe Kindergarten (KG) School to re-roof their school blocks, which were ripped off by strong wind force some time ago.  

Handing over the roofing sheets to the management of  the Yadzo D/A JHS at Yadzo in the Kadjebi District of the Oti Region, Mr Reuben Kemavor, the Kadjebi District Director of NADMO, asked the School Management Committee (SMC) and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the beneficiary schools, to help provide nails and other roofing materials to re-roof the schools.  

He advised school management to plant trees around school blocks to serve as a windbreak for the structures.  

Dr Sam Issaka Suraj, the Kadjebi District Chief Executive (DCE), who was part of the team, urged parents to provide their school children with their basic needs, since the government could not handle everything alone.  

He stressed that the role of parents in the provision of exercise books, school uniforms, footwear, and other necessities was essential.  

The management of the beneficiary schools expressed gratitude for the presentation, which was overdue.
