The figure, represents a significant 91 percent of the Assembly’s expected returns from its Internally Generated Funds (IGF) for the year 2019.
Disclosing this at the Assembly’s first ordinary meeting yesterday, Mr Darko-Quarm attributed the unprecedented and remarkable revenue achievement to various strategies and mechanisms put in place by management to enhance the work of revenue collectors in the area.
He reveled that, Assembly has in view of this reviewed its project revenue target of the year from GHs 800,000 to GHs 1, 200, 000, representing 50 percent increment of its previous estimated IGF target.
The DCE therefore called on Assembly members to support and work very hard to ensure that the Assembly realizes the new estimated figure.
