Berekum Assembly generates Gh¢151,244.23 at end of the third quarter
The Berekum Municipal Assembly, has generated Gh¢151,244.23 at the end of the third quarter this year, representing 62.11 per cent of its projected revenue of GH¢ 234,495.82.

Mr. Kwabena Kyere-Yeboah, Berekum Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), who announced this on Friday, said "This performance is a positive sign that the Assembly would meet its revenue set target.
The MCE, who was speaking at the assembly's third ordinary general meeting at Berekum, said the assembly's success was due to effective supervision of the work of revenue collectors.
Mr. Kyere-Yeboah said assembly was undertaking projects on health, education, recreation, sports, energy, sanitation, water and sanitation, and also executing the Community Based Rural Development Projects.
He expressed satisfaction at the success of the recent voters' registration exercise in the municipality.
Mr. Kyere-Yeboah advised the people not to consider their political opponents as enemies but to ensure peace and tranquillity for development.
He said We are one people with a common destiny, as such we should guard against provocative utterances that could result in violence.
