Speaking at a Community durbar in Nyameso, a suburb of Obuasi, the Obuasi MCE said the facility which was completed by AngloGold Ashanti in September, 2021 is yet to be operationalized due to lack of teachers.

According to the MCE, a committee had been set up to see how best the place can run, adding that the Assembly, per recommendations of the committee wrote to the Ghana Education Service to post teachers to the facility to facilitate teaching and learning.

“We have written to the Ghana Education Service to post teachers to the school. It will be difficult for the Assembly to employ teachers to the facility and pay them with the Disability fund that's why we have written to GES to post teachers there. This does not mean we have given the facility to GES".

He seized the opportunity to talk about the various challenges faced by the people of Nyameso even though he noted that the Assembly has constructed drains from Nyameso to Bogobiri.

He appealed to the people to support Government in its quest to revamp the economy
