Adaklu-Kpodzi hosts district farmers' day celebration
The District Chief Executive of Adaklu Mr.Phanuel Kadey Donkor has lauded the people of Kpodzi for their kin interest in agrarian activities.

The DCE in his speech at the National Farmers' Day celebrated at Adaklu-Kpodzi stated that the government of Ghana as part of the priority in Agricultural has introduced fertilizer subsidy to increase the income of farmers and planting for food and jobs of which Adaklu District is a beneficiary.
Mr. Donkor revealed that 12000 cashew would be nursed for distribution to interested farmers in the District adding that 20 acres cashew and coconut have been cultivated in the District respectively.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the area Mr. Kwame Agbodza implored the farmers to take food production and other forms of Agricultural activities as a commercial venture so as to be self-sufficient.
He also buttressed this point by saying that the total revenue that accrued to Ghana from Agricultural in 2017 was far ahead of what the country got from crude oil production the same year hence the need for the country to take critical look at farming.
The District overall best farmer Mr. Agbedo Frederick received 2 Wellington boots, 2 cutlasses, 1Napsack spraying machine, 2 key soaps, 1 wireless and a tricycle.
