The delegation included the Chief of Bonkorkor and members of the traditional council, Assembly staff, the Assembly Member for the area and community members.

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Abdullah Hamidu indicated that the nurses’ accommodation is expected to provide health workers with suitable living conditions, helping to improve their welfare and support the delivery of healthcare services in the community and also expected to encourage health personnel to remain at their post and ensure timely access to healthcare for residents, particularly those who require urgent medical attention.

The mechanised borehole, meanwhile, is intended to improve access to safe and reliable water for residents, thereby promoting good hygiene and sanitation practices within the community.
