HO: Road, Regional Ministers inspect construction works on Ho roads

The Volta Regional Minister Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa and the Minister for Roads and Highway Mr. Amoako Attah have visited the contractor in charge of the dualization of Ho main roads and traffic management 'Base of China Railway No.5 ', a Chinese construction firm to inspect the ongoing Ho to Sokode dual carriage road.

Addressing the media, Dr. Latse announced that the government of Ghana has reached some agreement with the contractor adding that work shall be completed on the revised schedule.

The Roads Minister stated that the road sector is key to the president and his cabinet and it serves as a pivot around which the development of the nation revolves and urged the contractor to avoid shoddy work.

According to the minister, an initial payment of GH 15 million has been made for work to commence adding that government will make full payment if the work progresses as planned.
