MP for Tolon commissions rural electrification project

Two communities, Woribogu kamo naayili and Woribogu Nangbahu in the Tolon Constituency of the Northern have been hooked onto the National Grid under the rural electrification project.

Handing over the project to the Chiefs and people of the two communities, the Member of Parliament for the Tolon constituency, Mr. Wahab wumbei suhuyini together with his District Chief Executive, Hajia Yakubu Balkisu stated that these communities form part of several communities that have already been connected to the national grid while some are still under construction.

The MP reiterated that the two communities that have had electricity only goes to add to the several communities in which through his hard work have been connected to the national grid.

Mr. Wumbei who is seeking re-election in the upcoming parliamentary primaries appealed to chiefs and people of the communities to exercise patience and remain loyal to the new patriotic party as they still championing the developmental needs of the constituency.

The communities thanked the Mp and the DCE for hooking them up to the grid at a time they needed it the most. They however appealed for potable drinking water since their only source of water is a community well. Both MP and DCE promised to attend to their request.
