KWAHU S: Besease to get CHPs Compound

The Kwahu East District Assembly is putting up a new Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound at Besease, a farming community in the district to help provide the people with access to quality healthcare.

The project, when completed would also provide affordable and quality healthcare to the doorsteps of the residents in the community and other neighboring towns.

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Emmanuel Atta Ofori who noted this at the Assembly’s said the project financed from the assembly’s share of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).

He urged the contractors to work hard not only to meet the deadline but to also make sure that there was value for money.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to tackle the health needs of the people, especially those in rural communities across the district.
